Yeah, while doing this album, still
Me just make it a point to do it to myself
I know nobody force me
People just encourage me, you know
We come together and the musicians
And everybody, we do this live thing
I just feel it was just good to really be a part of reggae music
The real start of what is now, some people woulda
Say dancehall or some people woulda say hip-hop
Reggae music is the, is the birth of these two genres, you know?

I′m just saying this to say that right now, reggae
Reggae is more of a pension, reggae is more of
A royalty than a lot of different music out there
You know, reggae live longer than, you know, and live on
So it's just basically me doing this and
Showing my part in terms of versatility
In terms of being a part of my own culture
Which is reggae music, you know?

And just endorsing it from a, some people
Would say, from a dancehall artist standpoint
Some people would say from a, from a mad, mad, mad somebody standpoint
Some people woulda say, really, from, from, from a youth like Bizzy
You know, some people woulda be in awe
Some people woulda still shocked
Some people woulda still there, they look and
They say, "Yeah, them can′t really believe it"

But, you know, just my, the people, the
People who I, you know, put myself around
The people who, who really surround me
The people who really help to build me in this, you know
We would just come together, we just do
This, and it's not a easy road, you know
We take on this knowing that this is not the fast lane
But it's more of a wide and a vast lane
Which part of the world can really feel this and get this from me

Not being a, a Rastaman with dreads and everything
Nothing about locks or nothing
But it′s just a level of showing the
Respect, as me say, to my own culture
That this culture, this music, reggae
Music, never really was my first choice
But I grow to understand and to love
And to show the respect to reggae music
