A medida que desarrollo la mente despierta
As I develop the awakening mind
Alabo a los Budas mientras brillan.
I praise the Buddhas as they shine
Me inclino ante ti mientras recorro mi camino.
I bow before you as I travel my path
Para unirme a sus filas, hago de mi tarea de tiempo completo
To join your ranks, I make my full-time task

Por el bien de todos los seres busco
For the sake of all beings I seek
La mente iluminada que sé que cosecharé
The enlightened mind that I know I′ll reap
Respeto a Shantideva y a todos los demás.
Respect to Shantideva and all the others
¿Quién trajo el Dharma para las hermanas y los hermanos?
Who brought down the Dharma for the sisters and brothers

Doy gracias por este mundo como un lugar para aprender.
I give thanks for this world as a place to learn
Y por este cuerpo humano que sé que me lo he ganado
And for this human body that I know I've earned
Y mi más profundo agradecimiento a todos los seres sintientes.
And my deepest thanks to all sentient beings
Porque sin ellos no habría lugar para aprender lo que estoy viendo.
For without them, there would be no place to learn what I′m seeing

There's nothing here that's not been said before

Situations that bring up our deepest fears

So we can work to release them until they're cleared

So in deciding for what a situation calls
