I′d like to introduce the band to you, briefly
On my left is a guy who came to me from John Hartford
Used to be a guitar picker
He played with John Hartford for a couple years
With Hoyt Axton, Johnny Rivers and a lot of others

I'm trying to think how to clean the introduction up
Comes from California, a man of many talents
Sings harmony like one of the Osborne Brothers
And he′s been playing bass for me like he
Knew what he was doing for a long time
His name is Terry Paul

Now Jim back here at the piano that you may or may not hear
Is a guy who's been with me since I started out
Neither one of us got noticeably better since that about two years ago

But it got older and nastier
Comes from Muscle Shoals, Alabama
A lot of people call him the Alabama Leaning Man
He's a great singer
He′s got a bad voice right now because of I don′t know what
Anyway, he says the microphone won't lean as fast as he will tonight
So you may not hear him but we may do one of his songs later
Hell of a songwriter

We call him Funky Donnie Fritz

And the baby of the group comes from Fort Worth, Texas
A virginal young man
Never been kissed or fondled, only 23 years old
He′s one of the best guitar players anywhere
And every group we play around tries to steal him
You won't hear how good he is with us because
Our songs just aren′t that challenging
But he's a devil and if you′re gonna mess with him, be gentle
His name is Steven Bruton
