So many messed up people gettin′ 'round
Stories in their heads spinnin′ 'round
Learned manipulations, lies, and fabrications
No solid foundation to be found

Our kinships and our totems are long gone
Communities were broken long ago
No tribes to give us guidance, no elders to rely on
Hoping we learn what we need to know

And here we are just goin' it alone
Tryna find some answers in the phone
So much information and bullshit confirmations
Confusing the young mind as it grows

Where to now?
So many feet so far from the ground
If you find something to ground you or a deeper love to cling to
There′ll be nothing of more value to be found

And I sit here with cancer in my blood
And I feel like it′s time to unplug
The world has gone crazy, it's true, we ain′t just sayin'
And I need a place to step off

Families are fighting left and right
Blocking each other from their lives
Public humiliation and digital defamation
Are now just an everyday part of life

And there was a time when we thought there′d be no more wars
When a path of peace was the only way forward
But we are dropping bombs on babies, projecting fear daily
And it feels like the whole thing's gonna burst

Youth suicide is always on the rise
Social media is messing with young minds
And the big fat corporations are sittin′ back makin' gravy
And the broken hearts just never saw the signs

Help me now
I tried to speak but nothin' comes out
My mind is goin′ crazy, these dark thoughts with me daily
And I just don′t see another way out

Where to now?
