Feliz año traducción al Inglés

We wanted to change the world
Because we didn't agree
Like almost no one
At least that's what I hope

We wanted so many things
That we always delayed them
Replacing them with others
Of which we are now slaves

Now that the year is ending
And another little bit of us escapes us
It's time to renew
Unfulfilled promises

We wanted to go south
To the sun that warms the most
Playing rancheras, tangos, and blues
Mixed in sea and tequila

And take every sip
Believing ourselves immortal
And only the years would pass
For others

Now that the year is ending
And another little bit of us escapes us
It's time to renew
Unfulfilled promises
