Bem, o juiz jogou a toga de lado e uma lágrima lhe veio aos olhos.
Well, the judge, he cast his robe aside, a tear came to his eye
"Você não entende", disse ele, "por que você sequer tenta?"
"You fail to understand," he said, "why must you even try?"
Lá fora, a multidão se agitava; dava para ouvir o barulho da porta.
Outside, the crowd was scurrying, you could hear it from the door
