Y luego, cuando me vuelvo loco con el rock, empiezo con una banda de metal.
And then when I get- get crazy with rock, I start with a metal band
En Colombia lo llamaban "Ekhymosis".
In Colombia, which was call "Ekhymosis"
Y eso fue en el año 88', empezamos en Medellín
And that was in the year 88′, we start in Medellín
Cual es mi- mi ciudad, mi- nací en Medellín
Which is my- my city, my- I born in Medellín
Em, empezamos a tocar muy fuerte y muy fuerte.
Em, we start to play very loud and very hard
Y ah, en realidad pasamos como 12 años.
And ah, we spend like 12 years actually
Tocando juntos y lanzamos cinco álbumes.
Playing together and we released five albums

Pero a través de todos esos años comenzamos a experimentar.

Esa fue la razón por la que me mudé a Los Ángeles.

Because we couldn′t find the opportunity

Y después de ocho o nueve, casi un año.

Y a través de un amigo mío que se lo regale.

Era muy famoso en latinoamerica.
He was very famous in Latinoamerica
Él produce todas estas grandes bandas de Latinoamérica.

So I was always walking, it was difficult for me

En el motel que estaba viviendo allí por ese tiempo y suena el teléfono.

Y solo atendí el teléfono y fue, ese era Gustavo
