Et il y avait dans le même pays
And there were in the same country
Les bergers demeurent dans les champs
Shepherds abiding in the field
Ils veillent sur leur troupeau la nuit
Keeping watch over their flock by night
Et voici, l'ange du Seigneur vint sur eux
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them
Et la gloire du Seigneur resplendit autour d'eux.
And the glory of the Lord shone ′round about them
Et ils furent si effrayés que l'ange leur dit :
And they were so afraid, and the angel said unto them
N'ayez pas peur, car voici que j'apporte des nouvelles de grande joie
"Fear not, for behold I bring tidings of great joy
Ce qui sera pour tous..."
Which shall be unto all..."
